The Frunchroom scheduled for this Tuesday, September 19, will be rescheduled as our host has tested positive for Covid.  We will let you know as soon as a new date is scheduled and look forward to bringing you this great lineup of storytellers.

The Frunchroom, the original live storytelling series about the South Side of Chicago that makes its home in Beverly/Morgan Park, returns to the Beverly Arts Center this month with new storytellers and returning veterans.
Scheduled to appear at The Frunchroom are:

  • author Erika L. Sánchez.
  • speaker/model Angel Simmons.
  • poet/radio host/dive bar enthusiast Mario Smith.

The Frunchroom is a quarterly live storytelling series of, by and about the South Side, produced by Morgan Park resident Scott Smith in partnership with The Beverly Area Arts Alliance. More information can be found at
