Peaceful Playground at Clissold Elementary School

On July 11, 2015 The Beverly Area Arts Alliance will lead the Clissold community in painting a NEW Peaceful Playground!

What is a Peaceful Playground?

“Peaceful Playgrounds enhances learning, prevents bullying and promotes positive social interaction on the playground.”

The Peaceful Playground will be painted directly on the blacktop between the Clissold School building and the green space.  We will begin work at 8:30am.  We need you!  To volunteer, please contact Susannah Papish at susannah@beverlyarts.org.

(Peter Hvizdak New Haven Register) Savin Rock Community School in West Haven, Conn. holds a ribbon-cutting for its "peaceful playground" Wednesday, November 20, 2013. The playground has designs and templates painted on the school's blacktop playground for use during recess activities and games. The initiative was paid for and designs painted by the vertical Church in West Haven.
