Planning is underway for this year’s Beverly Art Walk, happening across Beverly/Morgan Park on Saturday, September 17. Join us for a kickoff meeting and social hour on June 2, 7–9:30 pm. We will meet at Alliance Contemporary, a pop-up gallery behind Nicky’s of Beverly, 10500 S. Western.
There are a number of sponsorship opportunities that will help keep the Beverly Art Walk free and accessible for all participants and attendees. Become a sponsor now.
The call for artists to participate in the 2022 Beverly Art Walk is open! Artists interested in showing work in a venue (shop, bar, restaurant, cultural organization or pop-up gallery) during the Beverly Art Walk may apply using the form at the bottom of this page.
The number of artists and works selected will depend on a variety of factors, including space available in participating venues and compatibility.
Acceptance notifications will be sent by August 15th; all artwork needs to be READY TO HANG (framed and/or with appropriate hardware/wiring on back) by September 3rd. Installation will occur between September 3rd – 10th. Each artist or group of artists is responsible for installing their work and will be paired with a venue/business owner to coordinate an exact date and time. A volunteer curator will be assigned to help coordinate and install.
The Alliance is committed to supporting artists and businesses as we all continue to recover from the impact of COVID-19. All participation fees for the 2022 Beverly Art Walk have been waived thanks to community support received from an ongoing fundraising campaign. Artwork sales will be managed by the artist (or their representative) and 100% of all proceeds will go directly to the artist.
If you are an artist or maker looking to show your work in the Uprising Craft Market at the Art Walk, DO NOT USE THE FORM ON THIS PAGE. APPLY USING THE UPRISING MARKET SUBMISSION FORM, found here.
In 2022, business venues have been asked to keep artwork installed in their spaces for a minimum of one month to give more opportunities for customers/visitors to view the work.
So, to recap, the Beverly Art Walk timeline includes these key dates:
