Artist’s Statement

I am a landscape, portrait, and floral painter working mostly in oil on canvas or watercolor on archival paper. Many of my pieces are centered on the theme of finding beauty, regardless of challenges. There is always a way to come back to the beauty in life, with the human design and mother nature at its core. I believe we all need creativity and beauty; it is a deep calling within us that sometimes is unrecognized. Being a full time artist is far from easy. The positions I fulfill as a self-employed artist seem endless, but it fulfills a need deep within me to have the freedom to create beauty and share it abundantly. And for that you have my deepest gratitude. It is an honor to share my creations made with my heart and hands with admirers, buyers, and collectors.
