Artist’s Statement

I’m interested in the leavings and aftermaths of violence. Due to the constant entanglement of media in our everyday lives, I do not feel that I ever start with a truly ‘blank slate’ but rather my practice starts at my confrontation with environmental after images, either on-screen or on the street. I am documenting my reaction and processing of my environment.
